HERO TO ZERO

No one can say I didn't try but now I've got to admit to myself and everyone else that this NHRA season is officially f*cked. My engine program for the wagon has suffered catastrophic damage and I'm not going to be able to have it fixed in time for the Seattle or Sonoma National events. At least I was able to appreciate last season while it happened--which I guess is the life lesson to learned from this:enjoy the moments when you can!

In the meantime, we'll keep working on the final steps to make Brutus into a Stocker. The 383 is close to ready. I was even thinking of putting it into the Savoy and running L/SA but it just seems like too much work and besides, the Savoy is a ten second Max Wedge car! The Canadians will be coming down June 18 to challenge our '70 Town & Country with their '67 Polara at Bremerton Raceway. After that, we'll keep on bracket racing locally. Maybe I'll manage to get something together in time to race at the Nationals in Vegas on Halloween...
