Despite having four running race cars this year we have been light on the drag racing for a lot of really good reasons. We have been blowing off one Divisional event after another. It seems sad at times but any racer will tell you there are times for concentrating on other things. I was getting ready to let the NW Nationals go when I remembered:this is why we do this. All the work, the money--it's so we can race at our home town National event. We have earned the right to run away from home and join the circus for a weekend and we'd better take it while we can.
